So, from what I understand, a lot of people didn't like the ending of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy. While, I didn't think it was the best book, (that would be the original Hunger Games) it was definitely the second best book. I guess I would have to say similar to what I said about Catching Fire, in that I think it is pretty astounding how violent and, ultimately, cynical these books are. Particularly in Mockingjay where Katniss gets pushed and pulled by people with different agendas, trying to use her as the ultimate pawn in their own game. Sure, they eventually get their comeuppance, but at what price for the survivors?
